Challenge
McGuireWoods evolved their brand identity, but their social media didn't reflect that evolution. Posts varied in style and structure, often leaning too heavily on generic, news-style layouts. This made the overall presence feel fragmented instead of like one clear, unified brand.
Solution
I worked with the team to bring the firm's updated brand to social media. We introduced a more structured, repeatable approach to content. I used the new brand elements — a broader color palette, stronger type hierarchy, visual anchors, and more intentional imagery — to build clear categories for different post types. The system gave the team flexibility while keeping the overall look consistent and recognizable.
Previous Social Media Presence (x.com)
Their earlier content lacked a consistent structure, with different layouts and styles that made the overall presence feel less unified across platforms.
New Social Media Presence (x.com)
We established a more cohesive and unified social media presence that better reflected the firm’s evolving brand identity. The updated approach improved clarity, strengthened visual consistency, and created a more scalable system for ongoing content.
New Social Media Presence (LinkedIn)
Impact
The updated designs led to stronger engagement, with posts receiving more consistent interaction
than earlier content.
